New York’s Environment commissioner Basil Seggos was in the Adirondacks yesterday cutting the ribbon at the newly reopened Frontier Town in Essex County.

State officials have transformed the long-abandoned theme park, which closed in the 1990s. They’ve built a new campground and day-use area. They hope the new Frontier Town will be a ‘jumping off’ point for visitors to the Park.
