It’s Okay to Not Be Okay

This weeks episode looks a little different. For episode 20, I wanted to talk very briefly about my experience with mental health and how I practice gratitude.
Struggling with anxiety from a young age, I always felt like I needed to hide it and at the same time wanted to make sure no one felt the same way I did. Often times this meant always being the positive person in the room to make sure I offered a strong support system for those around me.
It is only now, as I get older that I realize more and more about the power of gratitude, self-care and that it’s okay to ask for a little help sometimes.
I’ve never been the greatest at sharing my feelings and being vulnerable. So I really hope you guys like this episode.
