I often see comments online of people talking about things the don't like about a show or movie. Every time I see one of these comments I also see a dozen replies telling that person that they must not be a real fan, or to just not watch it if they hate it so much. Today I wanted to talk about why that response to criticism is such a bad mentality, and can often lead to hurting the thing they love so much in the long run.
