Psalm 74, beginning at verse 6: “And now they break down its carved work all at once with axes and hammers. They’ve set fire to Your sanctuary; they have defiled the dwelling place of Your name to the ground. They said in their hearts, ‘Let us destroy them altogether!’ They’ve burned up all the meeting places of God in the land.”

Though unthinkable only a few short years ago, we are today again witnessing the orchestrated moral breakdown of the nation. Intent on destroying the former influence of God, people given to darkness set out to create a new society more in line with their own confused thinking. How sad if they are allowed their moment. But remember, it’s only a moment-for one day, every knee will bow, every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

It’s time to pray.
