Season 2, Episode 3: Understanding Grief & Loss without the Context of Religion

Grief is such a hard topic. It is something everyone experiences at some point but a topic that's rarely discussed. It isn't all sunshine and rainbows, but it is part of the human experience. A part of being human that can often be more difficult when you have left religion, or do not follow religion. The constant well wishes of "thoughts and prayers," can be overwhelming and frustrating when you aren't of the same belief. 

In this week's episode, I'll discuss some of what I believe, the science of the afterlife, and some different views on death from across cultures. If you are currently, or have in the past, had to experience grief or loss, I hope this episode brings you some comfort.
