In their second episode of the week, Drew and Alex dive into an important topic that isn't mentioned in the news enough, the World Trade Organization. Last week, the United States failed (or resisted) to appoint new judges to the appellate body of the WTO and now it looks like the WTO is in jeopardy of ceasing to function. Drew and Alex talk about the pros and cons of the WTO, how it was created during an idealistic time of globalization, and how it may have helped China grow. At the end they also relate the WTO issue to Brexit and analyze the recent landslide electoral win in the United Kingdom.
