Fast 2021 Pt.3”In this together!”

Preparation time is never wasted time!

    • You are ready for this!
    • Everyone participate. 
    • Great expectation for what is about to take place! 


      • Make prayer and worship a priority. Both private and corporate! 

      1. Praying/Worshiping in the Spirit. This is not just a fast, it is prayer and fasting! 
      2. Echo Prayer app. Daily encouragement via app, fb, YouTube, etc… Written and video. We will send out an emails when something is available. 
      3. Corporate prayer and worship. (Wed, Fridays at Joppa House).
          • Jan 6th, 13th, 20th (Wednesday’s) Prayer and live worship.
            • These are important times together. I believe The Holy Spirit will use individuals to minister to others. I believe some of your greatest revelations, encounters and breakthroughs will come during these times. 
            • Saturday, Jan 9th @ 6pm; prophetic worship service (full worship team). We will open this to people outside of our church family like before. ) No kids ministry, so that teachers can attend. People can bring their kids if they would like or they will have plenty of time to find a sitter.)
            • This is something that we will continue quarterly throughout the year. 
              • This is going to be a POWERFUL time!
                1. Prayer focus:
                    • Breakthrough
                    • Revival/Awakening. Signs, wonders and miracles. 
                    • Future of Ignite. Location, building, etc…


                      1. Study Focus:
                          • The book of Ephesians. 
                          • Identity. 
                          • Finished work of Jesus.
                          • Areas you need breakthrough. Areas others around you need breakthrough. 
                          • Feed on testimonies of others and share your testimonies with others. [email protected]

                              2. Perspective, expectation, and Attitude. 

                              Matthew 6:16-18 TPT 16 “When you fast, don’t look like those who pretend to be spiritual. They want everyone to know they’re fasting, so they appear in public looking miserable, gloomy, and disheveled. Believe me, they’ve already received their reward in full. 17–18 When you fast, don’t let it be obvious, but instead, wash your face and groom yourself and realize that your Father in the secret place is the one who is watching all that you do in secret and will continue to reward you openly.”


                              Perspective

                                • “Perspective is everything!”
                                • Your perspective will determine your response and what you can receive.
                                • What is your perspective going into this fast? Are you seeing it was a physical thing or a spiritual thing? 
                                • Although this is a physical act, it is much, much more a spiritual process! 
                                • Remember, we are not trying to force God to do something, we are fasting to align our perspective with what He has already done! 
                                • We are setting aside this time to diligently seek Him!

                                  • Expectation

                                  Hebrews 11:6 TPT 6 And without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God.[a] For we come to God in faith knowing that he is real and that he rewards the faith of those who give all their passion and strength into seeking him.


                                  AMP 6 But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.

                                    • EXPECT REWARD. Although we are not fasting for reward, there is a reward that comes with fasting… As long as your motives heart is right! 
                                    • Expect to hear God’s voice in the Word, dreams, visions, and revelations!
                                    • Expect greater intimacy with The Father!
                                    • Expect Breakthrough!
                                    • Expect a release of the supernatural!
                                    • Expect faith and power to increase!
                                    • Expect Clarity! 
                                      • Expect God to clarify some areas of focus. Create new habits, routines, etc… 

                                        • Attitude

                                          • It is the attitude of a heart sincerely seeking Him to which God is drawn too. 
                                          • Attitude is something Holy Spirit has really been helping me with over the last couple of years concerning my personal approach to fasting. 
                                          • I can not control how my body reacts naturally to the fast, but I am 100% responsible and in control of my attitude during the fast! 
                                          • My attitude toward the fast, toward myself and toward people around me. 
                                          • Do not allow what you are experiencing physically to dictate your attitude. 
                                          • Let your faith determine your attitude! 
                                          • Stay positive! Choose your words carefully! Not just the words you speak externally, but the words you speak internally. 
                                          • Focus on speaking and praying the Word. Declaring the Word. 
                                          • You get out of it what you put into it! (ROI- Return on investment) 

                                            • THERE IS A GRACE TO FAST! CHOOSE TO WALK IN AND RELY ON IT!
