Ephesians chapter 5, beginning at verse 11: “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful to even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. Therefore, He says, ‘Awake, you who sleep, and rise from the dead, and Christ will give you life.'”

Throughout history, there have been moments when societies have been suddenly spiritually awakened. The divine moments, initiated by God Himself, where multitudes of people became aware and ashamed of their speech and their behaviors. They returned to God in prayer and they asked for forgiveness. We in America are in desperate need today of such a moment. Scripture teaches that people’s actions can become so vile that the land itself will spew out its inhabitants. We are almost there.

It’s time to pray.
