• Africa, and specifically Cameroon, is different from the Western world is that it’s hard to get a job after graduating from college. I did lots of jobs including door-to-door sales and teaching young people in my neighbourhood so I could get to university and attain a master’s degree in International Marketing. But something felt missing in my life, but I’d never defined it. I didn’t have a purpose. I now use my gifts and talents that God has given me to serve others.

• In Cameroon we are loving and welcoming. Women are not excluded, and we welcome especially foreigners. We are brought up to embrace other cultures, we have more than 300 ethnic groups. There should be peace and so we show love to everyone. We got that respect from English people after colonisation.

• Most people know about Cameroon because of Roger Milla, the best ever football player in Africa, who played in the 1990s. We also have other great players still playing including Samuel Eto’o. You’ll find a Cameroonian in most of the biggest leagues in the world. Perhaps we’re good a football because of Roger Milla?
