In this dialogue, Jesus contrasts himself with his brothers, saying they are part of the world and alienated from God. He tells them the right time for him has not yet come, but any time is right for them. Jesus said he would indeed go to Judea to perform a great work which is His death. But it is not yet time for him to die. Jesus has not come to do His own will, He has come to do the will of His Father & His schedule is determined by God.
