Are you looking for Strength? Many people are seeking a way to feel strengthened amongst the division and turmoil our country is under. Some of us fear additional lockdowns, financial ruin, how we will provide for our families. We pray that this would all be over. Did you know Paul prayed several times to have his pain or troubles removed but God gave him grace instead? This is found in 2 Corinthians 12:9. And instead Paul decides to celebrate this temporary weakness as he knew God was FULLY expressing himself to Paul during this weakness. Let us Pray and listen to the scripture in three different versions.
Prayer. Heavenly Father we our thankful for you! We listen to your Spoken Word in anticipation of understanding that you are working within us when we feel weak. Let us turn to you and celebrate instead. In Jesus Name Amen.
“But he answered me, “My grace is always more than enough for you, and my power finds its full expression through your weakness.” So I will celebrate my weaknesses, for when I’m weak I sense more deeply the mighty power of Christ living in me.”
