This episode was inspired by the quote from Thomas Merton, “Christ is born to us today in order that he may appear to the whole world through us.” Perhaps this is what Advent is all about…we arrive in this season tired, worn out, exhausted from the shenanigans of the world over the last year. And we’re looking for refuge, stillness, quiet, light, peace, joy, renewal, rest…why? Because the mission is not over. Yes, we may be weary but we can’t stop leaning into our God-given purpose to bring Christ to the world. It’s up to us.
