Sunday, April 18, 2021 ~ Vanessa interviewed Jennifer Dickow owner of PearlaBella and Todd from Todd’s Room in Birmingham about Small businesses surviving through the COVID-19 pandemic and how small businesses are helping each other market their businesses. Todd started to feature products from other businesses to help market other businesses while offering more products in his store. Todd Skog co-owner of Todd’s Room has been doing what he loves best for more than 30 years which is helping women look and feel beautiful. Since opening his one-man room in '96 to having his ultimate dream come true of a 6000 sq ft beauty apothecary located in the up coming triangle district in Birmingham. Jennifer has spent her entire career in automotive in the purchasing sector where she recently retired in late 2019 after 31 years at FiatChrysler. Her degree in Architecture and curiosity and love of travel led her to a business that has grown since its inception in 1998. Her plans after retiring from automotive were to grow her jewelry business which specializes in freshwater pearls and jewelry from all over the world.
