I've Got a Mate

I've Got a Mate Episode 1 - Arimaya Yates

Listen Later

Today's episode of I've got a mate podcast features Arimaya Yates, a good friend of mine who was happy to chat about discovering her Aboriginality, her mob and her Country, how to be a good ally, the cultural load on Indigenous people, and how to ask dumb questions politely from a place of genuine curiosity.

This episode was recorded on Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung Country and my deepest respect goes to Elders past and present, and I'm thankful for being able to feel welcome as part of this community, living and working on this land.
