Acting is not everyone's cup of tea. I would say interpreters must at least sip a little from that cup or lose some of our fluency in interpreting.

Bruce and Siegrid gave me some thoughts about how to put into words my view of interpreting. Using some acting skills helps us create a better interpretation and allows us to be a part of the context in a more comfortable way.
