Austin and Ally Henderson are learning what it means to live on purpose – not by having every detail of life figured out, but by intentionally putting God first and allowing Him to shape their decisions about finances, marriage, family, work, and the future. Austin’s journey began after graduating from college and law school with $300,000 in student loan debt, when the reality of a $3,500 monthly payment forced him to recognize that he needed a plan.

Jon Harmeling’s journey from West Point and the US Army to leading a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Miami Shores is anything but ordinary. But through unexpected transitions, a cancer diagnosis, a five-year journey toward becoming a Chick-fil-A operator, and even the loss of his best friend, Jon discovered that God was leading him from a pursuit of success to a pursuit of significance, culminating in Jon writing his new book, Frontline AI Leadership.

In this episode, Jon shares how his military experience shaped his understanding of leadership and why true leadership goes beyond management. He explains how caring about people as individuals can transform a workplace, especially when many of the employees are young people entering the workforce for the first time. 

Jon also offers a fresh perspective on artificial intelligence. Rather than using AI simply to reduce headcount or get more tasks accomplished, he is using it to create “white space” that allows him to invest more deeply in his team.
