Alex is the Director of Marketing for the Nia Cultural Center. Alex has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Mass Communications from the University of Southern Miss, a Traveling Marketing Professional Certification from Southeastern Tourism Society marketing College in Dahlonega, Ga and is a Certified Tourism Ambassador for Galveston. He uses all his education, passion and style to bring education to all about the historical events involved with the Galveston Emancipation process.
