Just a random ramble.  No wisdom, no story, tbh nothing too interesting, but I guess this podcast has slowly morphed into a form of public diary in many ways...so eh...oh well…it’s a weekday podcast...so what can you do.

Now, I’m not saying that in the far future of maybe 3-5 years LLMs  won't be used fully as a higher level programming language, sure that’s believable...but as a compiler????? That doesn't even make sense....



Also, as you know, future Jabari here, and I swear all these LLM company CEOs are becoming annoying af idiots who just spout out useless dribble and need to be deleted from the genome.  Like even the anthropic CEO is slowly becoming a smug buffoon.  Like is it with tech bros and having a hive-minded personality?  Like is it just the longer you stay in Silicon Valley you catch some form of brain disease?  Is it ALL people without fail from these certain areas or universities or upbringing are hive-minded and you can’t trust any of them; if they seem okay, they are still in the hibernation phase and will reveal their true self the millisecond they have in the form of "scale" for their company.  IDK, but it’s annoying af.

Like I just don’t know why things can never just go smoothly for me.  It’s always a mess no matter what I do or try.  Even stuff I'm "good" at ends up messy.... idk... like some spiritual cringe lord would go "god just testing you actually this stuff makes you stronger blah blah blah", but....after a point, you'd think at least ONE thing would go smoothly where I sit content af due to how nice of a process it was....but alas, it NEVER happens.

I swear there is nearly no point to group projects in college.  It’s always unweighted groups and there are ALWAYS issues.  The rare time a project group goes well doesn’t outweigh the numerous times it was terrible.  The cope is that it "teaches students how to work in group environments on the real job", but again, that’s not relevant because the job there are actual consequences to not doing well...you get fired.  For school projects the worst is a failing grade for that project, which for the lazy student who doesn’t care....they don’t care....and it AFFECTS THE STUDENT WHO DOES CARE IN THAT SAME GROUP.  Meanwhile for the job, the lazy or bad worker who gets fired due to incompetence, the passionate worker still gets their salary and promotion and what not....the problem worker is the only one affected.  But even then, I believe the real truth is the LAZY PROFESSOR/TEACHER just doesn’t want to grade so many individual assignments for large projects, so it’s easier to just decrease the amount of grading by a fourth by saying “okay everyone get in groups teehee" and then call it a day.

Like the worst part of this story...even if this was all exaggeration and I jumped over douchebaggish things I did (which it isn’t and I didn't), this would still be a super busted messed-up evil thing for those people to do.  Like I truly didn’t realize those types of Hollywood, comic, anime-esque type villain archetypes actually existed in real life. So crazy.  Those are the types of people you gotta watch tf out for.  Don't ever forgive either.  Psychopathic behaviors.  I bet once this project ends up working and I’m big time, they would send the most friendly and cool dm as if that mess never happened.  And then just like psychopaths, if I were idiotic enough to fall for that mess, they would betray and screw me over once again. They  would be the type who would quick af leak secrets or try and cause the downfall of the company.   

But for real...why do these projects from some of the top-of-the-line companies down to the start-up of the start-up, to the random nobody-heard-of stable companies seem to take so long.... like without fail they are always overbudget and behind schedule.  It just seems nonsensical to me.... I swear when I run my own company stuff will be changing...

I'll never get why or how people can act so insane in public.  Like it’s just insane me.  Makes you really wonder what they are like in private then...it must be 100x worse.  Like if you can act that open in PUBLIC....in private you must be a whole other beast.

Looking back at these stories…it’s kinda crazy I was able to do that on my own.  To survive fully on my own like that.  Like it’s not a common thing to be dropped completely in the middle of the water and told swim...and then don’t drown....  Like I think it’s one of those things where you grow so used to it after having survived, that you don’t realize what you did and the mere fact of surviving is impressive.  Like so many other people usually have a support system when they go do something like that.  Rather than it being help from the job, or the school, or family in the area or cultural identity groups whatever….I was.... in all parts... a random af black guy in Hong Kong....

Kinda a very common opinion. Yeah, I’m not really saying anything new, and if anything, by the time this comes out, this will be even more of a common af opinion....but whatever, it’s a mini-mini-ramble, so not like I’m taking much of your time.

Any time you hear anything about “American values," it’s like some type of dog whistle for some type of racist af statement or belief structure.  I've never heard a non-politician,rich person,military person, orracist unironically talk about some American values.  Legit, never trust anything anyone says the moment they try and sidestep some nonsensical BS by using the age-old “American values" explanation.
