Jacie Scott is the Founder of Declare Hope, a non-profit that aims to connect innovative minds and hopeful hearts to cultivate greater awareness for pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer is a deadly disease with no early detection, and for Jacie - this hits home as she lost her mother to pancreatic cancer. With the spirit of her mother instilled in her, Jacie went on to chase her dreams, and she dove head first into the things that were slightly out of her comfort zone. She auditioned for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleading team and made the team on her first try. Jacie and I met during our time at Radio City together as Radio City Rockettes, and she is a bright and wise soul. Jacie’s urge to give back to her community and drive to always stay curious have gotten her to where she is today, and she talks about how her desire to get out of her comfort zone continuously allows her to grow.
