Loved it!
A wonderful story with characters that seem like real people. The short story was a complete episode in the life of young Jack, but it left me wanting more! I'd like to see this short story expanded into a novel. I'd especially like to know how Jack Bellows goes on with his life after experiencing such a horror at a young age.
Enjoyable
Enjoyed this short ....left me wanting more . Would love to see the story play out in a full novel.
Riveting
This tale is a story that has the power to not only grasp attention immediately, but also follow through the suspense with a powerful ending. Despite its short length, the tale contains intense emotion brought about by family ties and life in a rural area. Jack Bellows is an interesting character who hopefully has much more in store. This narration is a worthwhile read and will leave you stunned.
