Dj Roque Castro:

He is an artist who can certainly be called a dance floor veteran. With a career spanning more than two decades, Roque Castro has made electronic music a mission of passion and dedication that has become a landmark in the history of São Paulo's nightlife. As a result of the cultural diversity that includes the music scene, fashion and art in general, the artist has been at the forefront of several clubs, parties and festivals throughout Brazil, and is now a resident at the renowned Club Jerome, as well as heading up the Gang and Houseira parties in São Paulo. As the name of his party implies, house is one of the main themes of his research, but he also embraces the other strands of electronic music that translate the latent energy of dance floors. His extensive background behind the decks has provided him with ample technical experience in conducting sets that capture a precise reading of the dancefloors, which has led him to conquer the dancefloors of Germany, England, Portugal, Spain and France. Beyond the booths, Roque also does consistent work in the studio, with authored tracks that have already reached the catalogs of labels such as Prison Entertainment, Shake Records, Material, Cock Pitch Records, as well as Italy's Klaphouse Records, which released his latest 'Piano Groove' EP. Attentive to what's new on the scene and always ready to present innovative work, Roque is an artist who remains timeless and surprising throughout the generations.
