On Saturday, August 28, 2010, Jackson Hole was treated to a full day of thunderstorms. The sometimes violent storm cracked with thunder and lightening and  dropped over a half inch of moisture on the valley in the form of rain and hail and even dusted the mountain peaks with snow.  But at the end of the day, the sun broke through and a beautiful rainbow arched over the valley.
