Jacob is born and from his offspring will come the twelve tribes of Israel. The Apostle Paul writes that it is not the children of flesh who are the children of “I am”, but the children of the promise (Rom. 9:8). Just as Abram believed in “I am’s” covenant with him and it was credited to him as righteousness (Gen. 15:6), so are those who have faith in the promises of “I am” in Jesus Christ, today.
