Jacob Mitchell is the founder and chief investment officer of Antipodes Partners. Prior to founding Antipodes in 2015, Jacob spent 14 years at Platinum Asset Management where he was most recently the deputy chief investment officer and a portfolio manager of the flagship Platinum International fund. From 1996 to 2000, Jacob was head of technology and emerging industrials research at UBS Warburg Australia. He commenced his investment career in 1994 as a trainee investment analyst at high conviction, value oriented Australian equities manager, Tyndall Australia. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Sydney.
