This week, Dan Chiang shares the story of Jacob as seen in Genesis 25 &27. Jacob is someone who has the personal mantra so familiar with our modern-day society – “I need to take care of myself.” With this mindset, Jacob is willing to pay relational costs in order to get what he wants and gain some sense of security. However, ultimately God wrestles with Jacob which allows him to honestly confront who he is.
