Jade Empire, where can you play?

Listen Later

Many of us may be familiar with Jade Empire. It was a game released by Bioware, a long time ago. And it was a really innovative game for its time, it really brought Eastern culture into perspective. And I really enjoyed that franchise so much playing that game was it was right after we had Knights Old Republic, and that had all been released and Jade Empire came back. And it was just so innovative for its time. And it had the same dialogue options. It wasn't very long, I didn't remember that. But it was really fun to play, I would hope we can get another Jade Empire out there. A lot of us think that Noah to and goes into Shima. It's a brand new thing to have this kind of Renaissance when it comes to bringing in that culture. And it's not Jade Empire was one of those games that really brought the RPGs to light and bringing that entire mantra of what an RPG should be in the future, and why Jade Empire was such an integral part of that and traveling through the mythologies of those cultures. And one of my favorite fighting stances in Jade Empire was the drunken fighting stance. And it was actually a martial art stance that you could get because it was a big martial arts game. So you could fight in a lot of different styles of martial arts in that game. And that's what made it really neat is you had all these different styles, all these different conversations that you could have with people that would progress the story, and really get you engrossed in that story, like no other. And that's why Jade Empire was such a great game, they need to make it for next generation, because that would be completely awesome. If you guys hear any news on Jade Empire, just let me know. Because I'll be right there. Whatever forever, for whatever reason, I don't think they're going to do it. But I had to talk about Jade Empire, and how such a good franchise it is. And that if anyone could just go out there, send the message to Bioware and say, Hey, remember Jade Empire, that game you guys made that nobody knows about anymore. Like I cannot believe an entire generation before us doesn't know what Jade Empire is. It makes me sad. But it was on the Xbox. So if you have an old Xbox, it's a great game to fire up there. It's also on PC, you may have some compatibility issues. And it's also on Android, if you want to play that game. So I'll give you some tidbit information here where you can actually play this game. And it didn't work out too well on Android, the technical specifications just don't match up to Android. Well, the game is not play well. It's buggy, the graphics don't work. I don't know what they did. And it's not very compatible on Windows. So you're probably going to need an old PC. If you can scrounge up an original Xbox with Jade Empire, that might be your best bet for bet bet for performance, and really getting the opportunity to play that game. So that concludes today's podcast. I just wanted to get that out there. And as always guys, please click subscribe. many more to come talk to you guys later.
