Jaime Lubin Jumps into the Rotation

Jaime Lubin is a writer, content creator, performer, and media professional. She currently serves as Editor-At-Large for the award-winning Honeysuckle Media (initially coming on as Managing Editor 2017-2019, Executive Editor 2019-2021). At Honeysuckle, Jaime oversees content and development strategy for the brand’s print and digital arms, coordinating daily content for 100K+ followers and working on landmark campaigns that permanently impact social change. She returned to her acting roots for Honeysuckle’s first feature film, Girls Are Playas Too (2023). Jaime was named among CelebStoner’s 1500+ Women Who Should Be Recognized for Their Achievements in Cannabis, and her work was highlighted when Honeysuckle was named the outlet’s 2023 Publication of the Year. She was a Top Women in Cannabis award nominee courtesy of the New York City Cannabis Competition.
Jaime also works as Communications Director for the Law Offices of Joseph A. Bondy. Mr. Bondy is one of the nation's leading cannabis and criminal defense attorneys and Board Chair of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML). In her role aiding Mr. Bondy, Jaime has been integral on numerous projects, particularly in amplifying the mission of NORML, chartering new conversations between the cannabis industry and the general public, and helping to organize fundraisers for pro-cannabis political candidates such as Congresswoman Barbara Lee (D-CA).
As a public speaker on the topics of cannabis media, Jaime has presented at live forums including New York University’s CannaPolicy Career Talks, LIM College’s Business of Cannabis Program, the Cannademix Conference, and Business of Cannabis: New York. She has been featured on podcasts including CashColorCannabis, The Baked Sale Sessions, In The Know 420, and There’s A Word For That, and on TV series such as Manhattan Neighborhood Network’s Now We Rise and Ginger New York.
Jaime’s writing has appeared in HuffPost, New York Observer, Billboard, Irish America, Black Excellence Online, the Let’s Talk Hemp digital magazines for NoCo Hemp Expo, the world’s largest industrial hemp conference, and other publications. Jaime co-produced an innovative Lady Gaga-inspired Romeo & Juliet at the historic Flamboyan Theatre, appearing as Mercutio alongside alumni of shows including Law & Order: SVU, Pose, and The Blacklist. She also wrote, co-produced and starred in the acclaimed short film In the Cards. Praised by Oscar and Cannes-winning artists, In the Cards screened at Third Eye Film Festival’s inaugural series in New York, New Orleans, and Los Angeles. Jaime was Associate Producer on The Actors Studio and Pregones-Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre’s tribute to actress/producer Miriam Colón; the program featured Oskar Eustis, Caridad De La Luz, and Orange Is the New Black cast members Rosal Colón and Selenis Leyva.
