Listen Later

Jakki Civeriati had a tough childhood. Filled with anger, tempers, even rage, she never had an example of a functional family life.

At 19 years old, Jakki married her first husband. It was a marriage filled with emotional abuse, coercive control, even domestic violence. 16 years later, she finally broke free.
