OUI staff writers Brandon Drumm and RJ Young emptied their notebooks on the happenings at OU's preseason camp on Monday. They spoke about the quarterback derby between Jalen Hurts, Tanner Mordecai, Tanner Schafer and Spencer Rattler. They also provided interviews with defensive backs Brendan Radley-Hiles—"Bookie"—and Robert Barnes. 

There's also quite a bit of chatter about how good Rattler has been since folks have got eyes on him for the first time in earnest in a Sooner uniform. Just more than three weeks out from the season-opener against Houston, OU's defense is being billed as retooled and reenergized. But are they good enough to win a College Football Playoff game?
