What we all need more than anything as we wrap up 2020 and face the uncertainties of 2021 with continued COVID-19 concerns is encouragement to endure, or live out patience with action. James concludes his letter in chapter 5 with just such a message that can help us all in fleshing out how to continue living out our faith, no matter what lays ahead for us to endure.
