If we notice that someone is find it difficult to serve God properly - it could be that they are going through temptation, or maybe the love of this world is creeping in - we should take that step to inform them, because it could, by God's grace, lead to their conversion and repentance, which would cover up many more sins they would've committed in their lifetime.
