James is a music producer, composer, arranger and keyboard player with a career spanning 4 decades.
With his current single 'Yes' receiving rave reviews his smooth jazz and soul music is on the playlists of hundreds of international radio stations including the BBC and Jazz FM. He is known as the UK’s no.1 indie Smooth Jazz artist. 

James tells us about his early years playing  and touring with bands such as the Adventures supporting Tears For Fears. We talk about the genre of smooth jazz for which he is famous for and we hear how he has worked with and produced over 1000 artists in many different musical styles.

We finish up talking about how James uses his experience and musical talent to create compositions from just the humming of a basic melody.
