James E interviews Clint Slate and Iona James

Listen Later

This week James E interviews Clint Slate and Iona James.  This French musician and Scottish nurse who had never met were thrown together by chance as the result of a radio competition to bring performers together to write a song.  The results of this modern day reworking of the Auld Alliance is a musical collaboration which has been released as an EP called The Silent Sea.

‘The Silent Sea EP’ showcases a true team at work, each song being co-written by Iona James and Clint Slate to encapsulate all their influences and embark the listener on a unique and personal journey.

The EP is available on all platforms https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/ionajamesandclintslate/the-silent-sea
