In this episode of That Engineering Chat EDS takeover, Nicole chats to James East, the managing director for the UK and Ireland of Wurth Electronics UK. James has been with the German company for twelve and a half years and studied electronics at university. The company itself is 30 years old and has had 25 of those years in the UK. Wurth Electronics UK is an electronic component manufacturer which is set apart from the rest as it manufactures themselves and supplies directly. Nicole and James talk about the increase in lead times for certain products and the need to look at the supply chain carefully and work closely with customers to understand demands.
