'What We Do It For' is a song I co-wrote with Rob Bray. It epitomises what a Christmas Day can be like especially if you have children in the family. We tried to contrast the slow melody with a really upbeat chorus. I hope that you enjoy it

James Gladson - What We Do It For

I am a retired nurse that discovered that she could write songs. To my surprise after writing my first song at 58 years old I found I was able to write lyrics for a variety of genres and make up melodies. By then singing the words to musicians/music director/producers the backing tracks are then made and vocalists record. I do not wish to be a performer. I love writing songs and am lucky enough to have met many very talented musicians and singers who are willing to work with me.
