As commander of the 454th heavy bomb group, James Gunn was shot down during a mission over Romania.  Just one week later, Romania surrendered to the Allies.  Now, the ranking officer of almost 1,200 American POWs and no way to contact command, it was Gunn's responsibility to get everybody out.  Hear the story of heroism from a Romanian fighter ace who helped Gunn liberate 3 POW camps.
