๐๏ธ Rock Talk โ Episode 12 | James Lopez โ From Then to Now
In this episode of Rock Talk, we sit down with James Lopez, one of the first young men to come through The Rock over 20 years ago. After spending time away, James is now back โ faithfully serving as a coach, pouring into the next generation of young men right here in Kensington.
James takes us back to his very first experience at The Rock, meeting at Joe Handโs Gym, and what it was like when the ministry first moved into our building at 2755 Kensington Ave. He shares openly about growing up in Kensington, how sin slowly crept into his life, and the journey the Lord took him on to bring him back.
We also talk about the Nehemiah study we hold every Tuesday for our young men, what it means to coach on C Team, and how our boxing program is structured to disciple, train, and build up young men both physically and spiritually.
Join us for a powerful conversation on redemption, restoration, and what it looks like to come full circle and serve where it all began.
