James 2:8-13 Christianity begins with God’s love for you. Before God asks you to love him or love anyone else, he loves you first, and he gives you his love to love him back and to love others. King Jesus left his throne in heaven, lived as a man under the law, went to the cross, suffered and died in our place, paying the penalty for all of our sin—all because he loved us.
