Listen Later

After their title winning outing in Wexford last weekend Peamount United boss James O'Callaghan joins us for a deep dive into their season, from losing a large contingent of their high profile players last winter, being written off by most followers of the league and the media to sealing the league title with games to spare.

James opens up to Breifne Earley and Aaron Clarke (The WNL Show) about how they regained the league title against all predictions after the gutting of the club last season. He'll chat about the emergence of some of his young stars and the commitment shown by the entire squad over the last twelve months.

He discusses the increasingly novel situation within the league at Peamount United, of having a national league team which is focused on the women's sides and what that might mean into the future.

O'Callaghan details the opportunities that exist within the LOI Women's Premier Division with scholarships, European football and international representation across the age groups.
