The church bears witness to the Gospel of Jesus by it's love for one another and for its neighbours. So partiality, favouring some members over others, does more than strain relationships within the church: it inverts the Gospel and makes Christians judgemental, hypocritical and guilty. But is there good news that overcomes partiality with grace, sincerity, love and mercy?
