James Pool has served as a pastor in Texas for 30 years.

After that, he became the National Prayer Director for OneCry, and has been in that role since its inception ten years ago. He also started a college student organization called OneCry for Baylor University, and now serves as its onsite sponsor in Waco, TX. James is also a part of PrayerLink, the Southern Baptist Convention's state prayer leader network. He and his wife Valerie are parents to three wonderful children.

In this podcast, James shares his heart for revival and spiritual awakening and the importance not only for us as individuals to repent of our sinful actions and attitudes, but also for entire churches to corporately repent for their sins like the churches Jesus addresses in the Book of Revelation in Scripture. James describes how he has personally seen how God has wonderfully blessed churches and communities where corporate repentance has taken place.
