James, along with his wife Chrissie run Ross Hill Wines. Apart from scoring 5 stars from James Halliday on their reds, Ross Hill Wines has an extraordinary focus on sustainability. They were the 1st Winery in Australia to be certified carbon neutral and this has led to significant business opportunities especially with Qantas.

James is extremely passionate about carbon neutrality and here are some of their achievements.

Moving to pesticide free production

Installing 34kw of solar panels which reduced energy cost by 75% and had a 1 year payback period.
