Andrew was the go getter, but James is the zealous witness. He was privileged to be among the top three of Jesus's disciples, likely because of his candor and passion for the Lord and his gospel message. He was the only disciple whose death is recorded in the Bible, but his martyrdom carried him on to become James the Great in the Catholic Church, respected as the first Saint to be slain in ministry for the Lord. May his dedication and calling speak to us.
