The quick version is that the judge ruled in favor of the father Jeff, and gave him veto authority over his son’s transitionary therapy and hormone treatments. The courage that this Democrat judge displayed should be commended.

In the wake of the Dennis Bonnen scandal, Texas is faced with a true crisis in leadership. So many legislators remain scared of publicly calling deceptive practices out as wrong. It’s a strange continuation in the identity crisis that has plagued Republicans since the beginning of the year.
