Jamey is a 36 year old mother of four boys. She and her husband are life-long Alaskans raising kids and chickens in Sutton. Jamey has spent her career in the social work field specializing in disabilities and also child abuse issues. Recently Jamey’s life took a dramatic turn when she quit her long time social work job with the state to become a full time community activist working against Mat-Su coal mining threats. She has become so involved in community concerns, she recently ran for the legislature in one of the biggest districts in the state.
