Beth and Kate interview Jamie Husgen! Jamie lives in Columbiana with his wife, Jana! He has two sons and is about to become a grandfather! Jamie was born and raised in St Louis, Missouri. He attended a private Catholic boys school and played baseball, football and hockey. He played juniors hockey and then went to the University of Chicago on a hockey scholarship. He was selected by the Winnipeg Jets in the 1983 NHL draft and went on to play professional hockey until he broke his hip at 26 and retired. Jamie then went into the car business as a finance and general manager. He was married and divorced three times and then met Jana. Jamie and Jana have been at the Upper Room since March 1st of 2022! He enjoys fishing, boating, golfing, music and motorcycling. He also loves being outdoors and watching nature. We're so grateful for Jamie and his presence at the church and in town!
