This week on the podcast I am bringing you another guest episode! I am bringing Jamie back for a round two interview to talk about her journey with exercise addiction and giving up exercise for an entire year. That’s right, an entire year.
In this episode we dig into her story around exercise addiction, what happens when you exercise *too much,*why the “calories in calories out” mentality can lead to under nourishing your body, alllll the different types of movement you can participate in, changing your beliefs around your body image, creating a relationship with the fact that you might gain weight, being attached to what people think of you, finding movement that brings you joy, and more.
A little about Jamie: Jamie is a registered dietitian nutritionist who provides nutrition counseling to people who struggle with eating disorders, disordered eating, chronic dieting, exercise addiction, body image issues, and anyone who wants to find peace with food and their bodies to live their most nourished life. She practices from an intuitive eating, Health At Every Size lens and see clients both locally in Westminster, Colorado as well as virtually all over the United States.
Jamie has a passion to help everyone find full recovery and find the missing pieces that will complete the recovery puzzle.
