On this episode of Young People Nation we a sitting down with Nicole and Jamiya Atkinson. Nicole is the school counselor for Copeland Elementary and Jamiya is a student at Davidson, an aspiring actor, and her daughter.

In our second session, we focused on Jamiya's mental health process and how she learned to cope with the death of her Grandmother. We also talked about the healthy ways to cope with trauma and process grief.
