The Anniversary of the Dedication of a Church is a day of Special Solemnity. 2014 marked the fourth anniversary of the elevation of Immaculate Conception to the status of Minor Basilica. The term "Basilification" was coined during the preparations for that ceremony which took place on January 10, 2010.
