The President has rightly said it is time for a new approach to achieve peace, security, dignity, and opportunity for Israel and the Palestinian people. The President's plan is indeed historic. It allows Israel to finally apply sovereignty over historically Jewish land in Judea and Samaria, which includes the Jordan Valley. But who are the Palestinian people and will a two-state solution work?! Hear RON WEXLER, Biblical scholar, principal owner of Heritage Study Programs, Inc., leader of "Security and Defense Educational Tours" a member of the IDF who fought in two wars, the Six-Day War of 1967 and the Yom Kippur War of 1973, speak to the "Deal of the Century," the President's Peace to Prosperity Vision, as presented today from the East Room of the White House.
As the President stated earlier: "We are not here to lecture—we are not here to tell other people how to live, what to do, who to be, or how to worship. Instead, we are here to offer partnership – based on shared interests and values – to pursue a better future for us all."
